FICCI held its General Membership Meeting ‘Inclusive Growth for Sustainable Development and Poverty Alleviation, The Way Forward’ with no less than the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, Maria Leonor ‘Leni’ Gerona Robredo. The Vice President discussed her Angat Buhay projects which focus on food security and nutrition, universal healthcare, public education, housing and resettlement, disaster relief and rehabilitation, rural development and women empowerment. With her admiring enthusiasm to help alleviate the lives of our people, she was able to inspire our members that diversity and difference must never be a barrier to reach out to each other when anyone is in need.
