Renowned tax expert Mon Abrea also known as the Philippines Tax Whiz joined FICCI as a special guest speaker. Mon is a former BIR examiner who has put up his own tax consultancy firm and now works with many Small and Medium Enterprises by helping them easily deal with their letters of authority from the BIR. He beautifully shared valuable inputs that could greatly prepare FICCI members for tax audits and will offer practical approaches to getting our accounting teams ready for audit season. Mon also shared our rights as a taxpayer when dealing with the BIR.
