FICCI Activities

The Federation holds a General Membership Meeting  every two months on an average depending on the urgent issues faced by the private sector.  The Chamber invites distinguished speakers from various sectors which include government, private, social, and academe, etc. to share valuable insights with its members with an end goal of not only helping  members but more so help achieve prosperity for all.

One of the core values of the Chamber and its members is to continuously find ways to help those who have less in life thru the many projects and activities of the Chamber such as but not limited to regular eye camps, medical missions, relief work and contributions during calamities.

The FICCI recently responded to the call of H.E. President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to help build the province of Sulu. The Chamber and its members responded by raising funding to build the very first Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce Kapatid Village in Sulu. This is in partnership with Go Negosyo and Gawad Kalinga.

A Gathering of Friends from the Indian Expat Community Cocktail Dinner
The FICCI hosted a cocktail and a dinner for the Indian Expat Community at the residence of the H.E. L.D. Ralte, Ambassador of India to the Philippines. This was held last July 2, 2016. At the dinner the Board of the FICCI invited members of the Indian Expat community to join the FICCI and explained the activities as well as the advocacies of the Chamber.
FICCI Labor Forum on Labor only Contracting and the practice of "ENDO"
The FICCI held a forum with the the Hon. Undersecretary of Labor USEC Atty. Dominador R. Say and Atty. Apollo X.C. S. Sangalang, Guest of Honor and Speaker last September 2, 2016 at Solaire Resort & Casino, Paranaque, Metro Manila.</p> <p>Members along with their Human Resource Managers had a very dynamic exchange of views with the good Undersecretary which provided the Department of Labor and Employment with insights from the business sector. These valuable inputs were considered in their drafting of a new Department Order on this matter.
